It’s a business that I can take pleasure in helping other people and pride in myself. <br /><br />With experience in both quality control and corrective actions, I knew I wanted to partner myself with a company that held both high standards for efficiency as well as a business that puts people and the environment first. Some people don’t believe it's possible to helping people and not harm the environment. I say get out of the box for it is possible. I chose a company that also believes in hard work and rewarding their people as well as a focus on people. I guess the reason I chose this company was that I am a ‘people’ person who enjoys helping others. <br /><br />Between the team that I am now part of and the power house of tools available the only thing stopping me, is me.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8508186775783843325-4973469715558547174?l=extraincome-creativethinking.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Mary Spaidnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8508186775783843325.post-21441301601466261852009-04-01T15:59:00.000-07:002009-04-01T16:30:56.243-07:00I look back and wonder how did we get where we are?<br /><br />Now the numbers I am putting down are off the top of my head; but it seems like forty years ago a person typically worked one or three jobs in their lifetime. They would do their time, get their gold watch and pension for retirement. Times were hard but everybody pulled together with the idea that life would be easier for the next generation. <br /><br />Well now about twenty years ago, that number has gone up to about five jobs or so, I believe. The message then was that you needed to plan for retirement in which Social Security was a major component. <br /><br />Now in the last decade or so we have been seeing a continuing spiral in the stability of the economics in this country. Where layoffs were once rare, not counting the time of the Depression they have now become a regular occurrence in today’s market. <br /><br /> I don’t know about you but I am tired of a roller coaster ride that is completely out of my control. I want as much control as possible of my own life and future. Please understand that I don’t believe it’s all going to be roses but I have been on the fence for a few years now and it’s time to get serious.<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8508186775783843325-2144130160146626185?l=extraincome-creativethinking.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Mary Spaidnoreply@blogger.com
